Basic rules of decoration of pictures

Main principle: a frame needs to be picked up to the picture, instead of to the interior or to the colour of walls. An exception is done only for quite little apartments: here frames (and pictures) have to be picked up under the beforehand set sizes.

A frame and picture must not compete between itself, but make certain unity, mutually complementing each other. It succeeds to be attained, for example, if the chosen frame befits for a picture by colour gamut or its relief repeats the contours of  the reasons represented on a picture.
For works, executed on a paper, paspartu is needed. Long-term practice allowed designers to expose such optical effect. The lower field of paspartu is always done more deep, than overhead; otherwise all construction will look at oneself on a wall not by volume of, but trivial.

Paspartu can be the most different flowers. Dark paspartu strengthen intensity of paints on a picture and can, depending on a tint, to select warm or, vice versa, cold tones in its gamut. Another expressive reception, used in paspartu, is decorative patterns and lines, which can make a single band with a picture. The wide fields of paspartu are a fashionable tendency in registration of pictures.

You remember that large frames are cast aside by more shade. If you chose a by volume frame, you will have especially carefully to expect the corner of illuminating from beneath.

Works, executed on a paper, must be under glass. A danger is presented by not only a dust and dirt but also light. Under the action of ultraviolet radiation a paper becomes yellow, paints fade. It is therefore necessary to use the special protective glass is neutralizes 97% harmful rays. A paper must not adjoin with glass. In such cases pick up deeper frame or do deeper paspartu. Endeavour to find flowed, repellent ultraviolet rays, or akrilic glass, then you will not have to contest with the effects of sides of the directed illumination. The new generation of glasses with the special coverage does not give the specks of light, and also does not muffle "sounding" of paints.

A game of light is advantage of frames with metallic coverage, silver, aluminium or white gold. These metals in general perfectly befit for framing of works of modern art.

Silver and white gold (silvery alloy from gold and silver) is counterbalanced by loud paints and well combine with the saturated, clear tones.
Age-old pictures require an age-old frame or, at least, skilful copy, stylistically belonging similar artistic direction.

Water-colours, opposite, a matter is so thin, that for them light, best of all white paspartu befit only and restrained, not darkening their uneye-catching beauty of scope. Pictures it is showier than all looked at oneself coal and India ink in the strict dark framing without decorations.

Frames from narrow wooden slats harmonize with the thin lines of drawings of pencils and can either unobtrusively to continue them optically or to create a pleasant contrast with them.

Frames carry from wide baguette, as a rule, the special decorative loading. Their colouring, dekor sometimes are even too showy and can outshine by itself picture - that is why at the choice of such frames a carefulness, sense of taste and style, is required.

The basic function of frame consists of tom, to protect a picture from influence of external factors. It is therefore necessary to ascertain in tom, that for making of paspartu acidness technology was used. A frame and picture must correspond each other on a cost.

Changing the frame of old picture, you will be able to prolong its life and, possibly, give a glance on dear work of art quite another
